QUAND LE JEU THÉÂTRAL AVEC LES ADOLESCENTS VIENT RÉVÉLER SA DIMENSION EMPATHIQUE
Résumé
This article proposes a psychoanalytic approach of dramatherapy with teenagers. Can the transitional space of this therapeutic setting help adolescents to access more empathy? Adolescence psychopathology can be considered as a difficulty in relationship to others. A case study illustrates this analysis, and then enlightens the way embodiment of the theatrical character and listening to game partners leads teenagers to authentically understand the differences with others. Thus, acting in dramatherapy sessions enhances teenagers’ empathic abilities, thanks to the construction of a shared area of dream between patients and therapists, and among the group of patients.
Cet article propose une approche psychanalytique des prises en charge de patients adolescents par l’art théâtral. Les auteurs font l’hypothèse que ce dispositif de jeu met le patient au travail sur l’empathie nécessaire pour comprendre l’autre dans sa différence. Après avoir considéré la psychopathologie adolescente comme psychopathologie du lien, l’analyse d’un cas permet de comprendre comment le travail du personnage et l’écoute de son partenaire confrontent les adolescents à l’énigme de l’altérité. Ainsi, un travail empathique s’opère, par la constitution d’un espace de rêve partagé entre patient et thérapeute, ainsi qu’au sein du groupe de patients.
