This article examines the relationship between two contemporary phenomena: the success of the expression "post-truth" and the proliferation of documentary practices in artistic and literary production. In a context of history and thought in which the discourses usually invested in truth, such as those of journalism, science and politics, are coming under suspicion, the arts are taking on questions of an epistemic and epistemological nature, concerning the way in which truth, whether media, political or scientific, is made and administered.
